The entire city was wiped out by Dry January! Every company ran out of their products. We couldn’t keep things in stock. And it was AWESOME! Now what? Well, most of our customers are sober, whether for health, religious, or recovery reasons. So Dry January may be over but we aren’t expecting much change. But we ARE looking to make some changes in our menu! Yes, we have our Best Sellers. And yes, we have the a new drink every day thing from Sober October. But we are hoping to phase in some fancy new AF cocktails, like The Bees Knees, currently the most popular drink in America, according to the NYTimes. And we’re excited about the Painkiller, just in time to celebrate Valentine’s Day and all the associated heartbreak. If you have a favorite cocktail you’d like to see recreated here in our cozy oasis, let us know! We have all the alcohol free products to make all you dreams come true! We rang in the New Year with a great group of friends and newcomers, all hosted by Rachel Hechtman of Sober in Central Park. It was a bit nerve-wracking, we’ll admit, given that it was our first! The holidays have been a whole new experience through the lens of “retail sobriety,” learning that sober folks don’t need to escape their families in quite the same was as those who aren’t sober. We decided to be open on January 1, given that the weather was wonderful and hoping that those seeking to kick off Dry January may be looking to spend some time with us. We are VERY glad we did!
